Consultant 5x Her Revenue
"You make me think bigger."
Before
Janine was starting a consulting practice while working a day job, feeling lost on "how" to do the solo life. She'd come out of a burnout corporate situation and knew she needed support to not burn out again. There were things she knew she needed — proposals, terms and conditions — and things she didn't know she needed: boundaries and structure.
"It was all very ad hoc. I had a few one-off clients but nothing regular or ongoing."
The Brief
Janine needed support with: Not burning out again. Getting focus and working out priorities. Building confidence that she could actually do this. Creating structure and accountability. Practical tools like proposals and terms of business.
The Solution
Rachel had been on Janine's radar for years. She joined 1:1 coaching and her community, working on both the mental blocks ("can I do this?") and the practical ones ("how do I do this?").
A planning weekend in September 2024 was a turning point - it unlocked a step change in how Janine approached her business.
The Results
Her revenue is 5x what it was.
"My revenue is 5x in 2024/25 vs prior years — in fact I'll make more this year than I have combined in the three years prior."
She stopped thinking small.
"Before I thought small. My business was to pay for shoes and holidays. Now I think big. It has potential for a full team, to provide more income than I have now, and be something I can do for the rest of my working life."
She gained confidence and clarity.
"I have huge confidence that there is a need for my services, that with support I'll be able to transition out of my day-job, and that I CAN do it."
She found accountability that actually works.
"You are honest and call me on my BS. It's direct without being harsh, and I feel you *on my shoulder* when I'm making decisions about my business or difficult client situations. I appreciate your balance of directness and kindness. You can feel when I'm spinning and when I just need to get my words out."
Post-Rachel
Janine is now working toward cutting back - or leaving - her day job in the next 12 months. She's more confident, more structured, and knows exactly where to focus to take the next steps.
Rachel in three words? "Makes shit happen."
