One to One Consulting
You've had the sort-my-shit-out meeting with yourself four times. It didn't take, because you were sitting on both sides.
That's what I'm for. You bring the business and the mess. I see all of it, tell you what's actually going on, and we decide what to do.
I'm not going to ask what you think you should do.
That’s what coaches do, and if it worked for you, you wouldn't be here.
I run a digital ads agency as well as this. I've written the proposals, hired the contractors, under-charged, over-delivered and quietly fixed it. So when you tell me your problem, I'm not reflecting it back at you. I'm matching it against every version of it I've already seen, and telling you which one it is.
Jodine put it best: "I love that you just bloody well tell me. Previous coaches tried to coach me to figure out the answers."
"I need more leads."
You had enough leads. But you weren't charging them properly, and pricing is the harder task, which is why you are looking at lead gen instead.
"I'm a massive fraud."
Revenue up 35%. Profit up 68%. Same business, same person, different decisions.
"I'll sort my marketing once the rebrand's done."
Assume the rebrand won't be done this year. Now what makes money in the next ninety days? That’s what needs your focus today.
"I can't get anything moving."
You don’t need a bigger plan. You need someone to make the small decisions with you, so they get made at all.
"I'm so busy and the money is flat."
You are giving half your work away before you get the proposal signed. Profit tripled once you stopped.
What my clients walk in with
Because what we think is the problem, is often just another symptom.

What we actually do together
Seeing: You bring the business, the mess, the thing you keep not deciding. I look at all of it and tell you what's underneath. This is the bit nobody's ever charged you for before… and it's the bit that dictates everything that happens next.
Wanting: Before we fix anything, you lay out what you really want. Not the Instagram version, the real stuff. Is it Fridays off? A 25hr work week? To not have to scramble over processes or documents or deadlines? Unedited, in your words….I can keep up with your side quests and tangents.
Deciding: We decide together, as many things as we can, out loud, written down as we go. Once it's decided, it's decided until there's new information. You stop re-litigating the same thing every few weeks at 11pm.
Holding: And then I stay. Every call starts with what you said you wanted. When you drift from it, and you will, I read it back to you. We finish every call by booking the next one. You get me in your pocket for the moment the roadblock shows up, not months later.
It starts with a day in a room with me.
Up to four hours, in person if possible or on Zoom. Before we meet you fill in a brain dump as many times as you need to, so nothing gets lost on the day. We sort it, we decide, and you leave with a decisions register and the next ninety days in order. A follow-up call a couple of weeks later to fix whatever's shifted.
Then I'm in your pocket, a month at a time.
After the day, if you want me to stay, we build you a custom consulting plan that contains a combination of full support months - times where you want me doing the doing alongside you - or a sounding board month where I check in with you, you can drop me a line, I am here for the BAU things that crop up but you’re doing the work. Most people do a month or two at full support, then drop to the second. No fixed contracts.
Teams and business partners.
If there are two of you running it, I can work with you both.
Outside New Zealand?
You'll pay in AUD or USD, no GST, and your local currency will be on your proposal.
Pricing?
The Planning Day pricing starts from $2500 + GST NZD and consulting engagements are custom priced (you get more detail via email when you book a chat).
How that looks
Not ready for all of that? Bring me one problem.
The Second Opinion.
Ninety minutes on Zoom on the one thing you're stuck on. Is it the proposal you've rewritten four times? The client pushing on scope again? The price you've been circling for a month and you just made it up in the end? Or the staff member who costs you more hours than she saves? You talk, I ask, I tell you what I'd do, with the reasons. You get the recording and a written summary of what to do next, so you can focus instead of taking notes. It's a complete thing on its own, and plenty of people only ever need the one. But it’s also how a lot of my clients found out they wanted me in their pocket for longer.
$500 + GST NZD or $380 USD
Who is consulting for:
You've got a team, and running them has become your job.
Designers, marketers, small agencies and studios. You're carrying studio overhead on the prices you set when it was just you, and the people you hired to make life easier are why it isn't.
Or it's just you, and the money's flat.
Consultants, strategists, the people other businesses call when they're stuck. You're good, you're busy, and you're still selling hours. You want to earn money from your thinking, and have a life that isn't the business.
Who this isn’t for:
If you want someone who only holds you accountable, that's not me. If you want cheerleading without a reality check, that is also not me.
I see patterns and I name them, kindly, but honestly.
If you want someone who'll see it, say it, and not let you un-decide it, let's talk.
Start with a call. It's free and it's about you.
Thirty minutes.
You talk, I ask questions, I tell you what I see. I won't pitch you on the call.
If we fit, I’ll send you something after.
